Wolves Seize 2-0 Series Lead Over Nuggets in Game 2 Blowout

Edwards, Towns Lead Charge in 106-80 Victory

In a stunning display of dominance, the Minnesota Timberwolves cruised to a 106-80 victory over the defending champion Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Towns Dominates Paint, Edwards Shines

Karl-Anthony Towns led the charge for Minnesota with a monster performance, recording 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists. Anthony Edwards also stepped up, contributing 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Despite missing their star center Rudy Gobert due to injury, the Timberwolves defense was suffocating. They held the Nuggets to just 80 points, forcing turnovers and limiting their opponents' shooting efficiency.

Nuggets Struggles Continue

Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP, struggled to find his rhythm, finishing with only 17 points and 8 rebounds. The Nuggets shot a dismal 5-for-28 from 3-point range and failed to generate any consistent offense.

The Timberwolves' victory gives them a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 3 will be played in Denver on Friday.
