Lazio Coach Maurzio Sarri Is Expected To Deploy An Ultra Attacking Lineup

Baroni Urges Lazio to Swarm on ‘Wounded Milan’

Lazio Coach Maurzio Sarri is expected to deploy an ultra-attacking lineup

to take advantage of AC Milan’s defensive frailties.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Serie A clash between Lazio and AC Milan, Biancocelesti coach Maurizio Sarri has urged his players to take the game to their wounded opponents.

Milan, who are the reigning champions of Italy, have endured a difficult start to the season and find themselves languishing in 11th place in the standings. Their defensive frailties have been a major concern, conceding 15 goals in their opening 10 matches.

Sarri, known for his attacking philosophy, is expected to field a lineup that will put pressure on Milan’s shaky defense. The likes of Ciro Immobile, Felipe Anderson, and Pedro are all expected to start, with Sarri hinting at a possible switch to a 4-3-3 formation.

“We know that Milan are a wounded animal, but we can’t afford to underestimate them,” Sarri said in his pre-match press conference.

“They have some very talented players, and they will be looking to bounce back from their recent setbacks. We need to be at our best to beat them.”

Sarri’s comments suggest that he is willing to take risks in order to secure victory. With Lazio currently sitting in fourth place in the standings, a win against Milan would further strengthen their position in the race for Champions League qualification.
